Agrasen Gehlot skips ED date yet again

Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot’s elder brother Agrasen once again skipped appearing before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday for questioning in a money-laundering probe linked to a fertliser scam, citing health issues.

“Earlier also, he did not appear before the agency for questioning. The probe team was informed by his family members that he could not join the investigation due to health reasons,” sources said. Now, he has been asked him to appear before the agency next week, they added.

The ED recently conducted searches at the premises of Agrasen as part of its probe linked to the scam. A Jodhpurbased company, Anupam Krishi, owned by Agrasen was among those where searches were conducted.
