Food blogger Durfshan Wani shares some yummy recipes with walnuts, which helped her become fit

INGREDIENT­S

Whole wheat flour: 1 cup Water: for making dough Salt: a pinch Turmeric: a pinch Paneer (grated): 50 g Walnuts (grated): 2–3 Onion (finely chopped): half Coriander (finely chopped): a handful Green chilli (finely chopped): 2 Ghee: for frying

METHOD OF PREPARATIO­N

Use water to make dough with the whole wheat flour, and divide it into small equal-sized balls.

To prepare the filling, mix grated paneer, grated walnuts, finely chopped onions, chopped coriander and chillies, a pinch of salt and a pinch of turmeric. Mix this well.

Take a dough ball and roll it out out.

Once done, carefully place the mixture in the centre of the rolled out ball and then flatten it to roll it

Walnut, which has high vitamins, minerals, omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidan­ts and anti-inflammato­ry properties, naturally has a pool of health benefits. Often considered a super food by experts, it is known to promote weight loss and heart health while regulating metabolism and strengthen­ing immunity and more. out again to a two to three inch radius.
