Ankith Gupta and Dank Sinat`a team up for an exciting album
Following his meteoric rise in the music world, 17-year-old Chennaibased producer and composer Ankith Gupta has just released his debut album, The Inconstant, in collaboration with Bengaluru-based rapper Dank Sinat`a.
Ankith shot to fame when he got into the Guinness Book of World Records for ‘Most Languages Featured on a CD single,’ last year. He has established a name for himself as a record producer and composer, having worked on over 70 songs and three EPs with artistes from the USA, Iran, Italy and other places over the past year. He spent the lockdown creating a special hip-hop track that celebrates the global appeal of music. Titled 7500 — a reference to the number of hours spent crafting it

India, where an indie artiste like him would have found it hard to get opportunities. “I am balancing my job and the journey as an indie artist and I am willing to take my chances in both,” he says.
Dank is also part of the bilingual rap collaborative, Kaccheri Boys, a Bengalurubased rap duo which features Dr G as well as him. Their vision is to create alternative hip hop with a heavy emphasis on lyricism and storytelling and tackle a broad range of issues. Both Ankith and Dank Sinat`a are excited about The Inconstant, which has been getting a lot of great feedback since its release. They hope it will pave the way for more exciting projects for them in the future.
