Ex-city minister A.K. Walia succumbs to coronavirus

New Delhi,

April 22: Senior Congress leader and former Delhi government minister A.K. Walia died of covid in the early hours of Thursday, party leaders said. He was 72.

Congress leaders Rahul

Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal among others condoled his demise.

Delhi Congress president Anil Kumar expressed grief over the former MLA’s death. He said Walia breathed his last at the city’s Apollo Hospital.
