The pandemic has resulted in many postponements and even cancellations. Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari of Bareilly Ki Barfi and Panga fame, who had announced the release of her debut novel Mapping Love, has now put it on hold, owing to the unprecedented pandemic situation.

The book was slated to release on May 21.

“Like my movies, I dreamt of a similar togetherness. Of reading chapters amongst book lovers and making all of you a part of my happiness. But the journey of life keeps surprising us and in these trying times I don’t feel right to release my debut novel, Mapping Love,” she said. “I have decided to wait to see bright faces on a normal day and we will rejoice in the love for all beautiful forms of art once again,” she added.

Meanwhile, the filmmaker is set to debut in the OTT space with Faadu. She is also working on the biopics on the Narayana Murthys.
