The Arjun Reddy actress has one wish for herself today. She hopes for theatres to open across India and wants audiences to see Jayeshbhai Jordaar on the big screen.

Shalini says, “I've been crazily looking forward to the release for more than a year now and I can’t wait for audiences to see the film. I know it’s a good and special film we’ve made with much love and dedication. Of course, every film is made with love and dedication. However, because this is my big screen Hindi debut, the experience is really big and emotional for me and I can’t wait for the film to release because I know people will love the film and its characters.”

Incidentally, even the actress wants to go back to theatres and watch the film on the big screen. “This film has its own journey, and I want people to experience it as soon as possible. I literally can’t wait; the film’s so special, I get excited every time I think of its release,” Shalini adds.

Shalini has landed a threefilm contract from Aditya Chopra, who’s mentoring her to be an actress to watch out for. “Working with Yash Raj Films (YRF) with a 3film contract is a big deal — a big launch pad for sure and a dreamcome-true. I’ve grown up watching YRF films and wanted to be their heroine,” she says, adding that even her parents are very happy because they, especially her dad, have watched a lot of movies. “To be very honest, it happened all of a sudden, and with Jayeshbhai, it’s started with a very special film.”
