Senthil Nathan ready with Sivi 2

KR Senthil Nathan, who made a critically-acclaimed horror film Sivi in 2007, is back with its sequel.

Tejraj and Swathisha play the lead characters. Sivi was also talked about for its quirky story, and speaking to DC, Senthil says, “The story picks up from where the original film ended - at the abandoned hospital premises. Though entry was banned by the Government, a set of Viscom students who want to make a documentar­y on the hospital enters the place with due permission, but they vanish. Cops go there to investigat­e, only to stumble upon startling revelation­s.”

He vouches that the screenplay will draw audiences in. “There’s a time travel loop segment as well. We have used extensive CG works and I am confident that like Sivi, the sequel will also be lapped up by people,” Senthil says. Chaams plays a crucial role of a hacker. Balaji, Kodhandam, Gayathri, Christin a n d Kumaran are in the supporting cast. BL Sanjay cranks the camera for the movie produced by Lalitha Kasturi.
