TECH-AIDED FARMING
● Government to promote the use of 'Kisan Drones' for crop assessment, digitisation of land records and spraying of insecticides.
● A fund with blended capital to be set up to finance startups and rural enterprises working in agri-space.
● Start-ups to support farmer-producer organisations (FPOs), make machinery available for farmers on a rental basis at the farm level.
● A scheme of public-private partnership (PPP) model to be launched to bring technology to farmers.
● Public sector research and extension institutions along with private agri-tech players and stakeholders of agri value chains will be brought in to facilitate this.
