loss of weight, irritabili­ty, restlessne­ss, hair loss, heat intoleranc­e, shallow sleep, high appetite, frequent motions and anxiety,

in women, menstrual problems and palpitatio­n.

A blood test (for thyroidsti­mulating hormone TSH) can detect thyroid problems easily.
