After playing Konda Murali in the biopic Konda, Trigun (earlier Arun Adith) is gearing up for a breezy entertainer. He will be playing the protagonist in Cartoons, a film with the subtitle 90's kids bay eeda.
Saiteja Sapanna, a popular choreographer of dance reality shows, is making his directorial debut with this film.
“Cartoons is based on the relationship between two friends played by Trigun and Deepak Saroj,” says the director, adding that the film will bring back memories of the 90s’ teens. “To reflect the times, the film will replicate the gestures and habits of the youngsters back then, like the punk hairstyle,” he shares, adding that he also wanted to showcase the values of the older generation. Saiteja explains that he chose Trigun because the script demanded the protagonist to be an extrovert.
“Also, I could see in him the ‘90s kids’ personality and attitude, and his physical appearance also matched that period,” he adds.
