Actress wife denying marital rights: MP in social media clip
Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Lok Sabha member from Kendrapara Anubhav Mohanty continues to wash his dirty linen in public.
The actor-turned-politician, who had released a video a few days ago claiming that his decision to marry a leading Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini was a “great mistake,” has posted another clip on social media elaborating his strained relationship with the actress.
Holding Varsha responsible for the marital dispute between them, Mr Mohanty accused her of denying him the conjugal rights he deserved for years.
“I was the first one to file a petition for divorce.
My only reason for filing the divorce as cited in the petition was non-consummation of marriage. Even after 8 years of marriage, my life partner didn’t give me the rights that I deserve as a husband,” said Mr Mohanty.
The lawmaker went on to add, “When we got married in 2014, she had said that since childhood she feared any kind of physical relationship. She requested me to give her some time to accept me as her husband mentally as well as physically.”
“I was utterly surprised after listening to such a request. How is it possible to make such a demand when a boy and girl are in love for such a long time? How is it possible to stay away from such a dignified and honoured relationship? Relationship between a husband and wife is highly sacred and pure,” he added.
Earlier, on May 19, Mr Mohanty had released a video on social media in which he broke down and poured his heart out over his “failed” marriage with the actress. Without taking any name, the actor-turned-politician said choosing a life partner was the only mistake he had committed that ruined his life.
