Modi@8: BJP to hold ‘Lok Sabha Pravas Yojana’ from May 30

Ministers to tour 140 Opp. LS seats

With an eye on the impending Assembly polls in states like Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Chhattisga­rh and Madhya Pradesh and their possible impact on the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, BJP president J.P. Nadda held the “Lok Sabha Pravas Yojana” meeting with senior party leaders at the BJP headquarte­rs on Wednesday. Among others, Union ministers, MPs, MLAs attended the meeting that took stock of various nationwide programmes that the ruling party plans to organise to celebrate the Prime Minister Narendra Modiled NDA government’s eight years in office.

Beginning May 30, the celebratio­ns will be themed around “Sewa, Sushashan and Gareeb Kalyan”. As part of the outreach programme, the party will highlight all the policies and programmes of the Modi government.

BJP leaders, including union ministers, will be reaching out to the beneficiar­ies of various schemes launched by the Modi government. Since 2014, these beneficiar­ies have become an additional vote bank for the BJP and therefore, the party is making all efforts to maintain regular contact and keep them informed.

As part of the “Lok Sabha Pravas Yojana”, it is learnt that the Union ministers will be visiting 140 Lok Sabha constituen­cies where the opposition leaders have won. The BJP leaders will stay put in these constituen­cies for three days.

Union home minister Amit Shah was also present during the “Lok Sabha Pravas Yojana” meeting. National general secretarie­s of the party also attended the meeting.
