Jr MGR debuts with a crime thriller
Legendary late iconic actor/politician's grandson Jr MGR is making his acting debut. The yet-to-be-titled film, is directed by Tamizh Thyagarajan, went on floors with a formal pooja ceremony at former CM MGR’s famous residence Ramavaram Garden in Chennai on Wednesday.
A woman-centric crime thriller, Krisha Kurup of Clap fame plays the leading lady. Bankrolled by MD Vijay, the film has Saravanan Sri as the cinematographer. Several celebs including Anand Babu, Mohan G, Santhosh Pratap, Pugazh, Udhaya, Tamizh,Vaiyapuri, Sugumar, Daniel Pope among others graced the event.
The young actor happens to be the son of MGR's wife VN Janaki’s adopted daughter Sudha and the late Vijayakumar.
