Nadda: BJP will retain power in MP, get 200+seats in polls

Nadda on Sunday exuded confidence that his party would retain power in Madhya Pradesh in the yearend Assembly polls by securing more than 200 seats out of total 230.
Addressing the heads of the party’s booth units, Mr Mr Nadda said that the BJP would have a share of more than 51 per cent votes in the upcoming Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, due in November this year, and win more than 200 seats.
Congress leader Mona Mustani and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Usha Chaudhary were admitted in the BJP by him.

Lodhi, who was expelled from the party earlier, was taken back in the party.
The BJP leader is considered a loyalist of senior
party leader and former Union minister Uma Bharti. In fact, Ms Bharti had been sulking since the party took disciplinary action against Mr Lodhi a year ago. Mr Nadda heaped praises on chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for ensuring the development of the state and its people.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched various projects and Mr Chouhan executed them in the state.
He said that the Shivraj government has spent `1,02,000 lakh crores for implementation of various welfare schemes in the state.
Mr Nadda particularly praised chief minister Chouhan’s pet scheme — Ladli Behna Yojana — providing a financial assistance of `1,000 per month each to the poor women.
The BJP president also slammed Congress veteran and former chief minister Kamal Nath for discontinuing welfare schemes launched by the previous Shivraj government during his 15-monthrule in the state.
