Special secy asks for security for meeting AAP’s Bharadwaj

Amid the ongoing tussle over the ordinance between Delhi government and L-G, the special secretary (services) Dr Kinny Singh has written a letter to chief secretary, Delhi Govt, against services minister Saurabh Bharadwaj and has asked for ‘adequate security’.

In the letter, Dr Singh has asked that “adequate security should be provided” and “I have lost trust that my personal safety and dignity will be ensured whenever called for a personal meeting”.

“Today on 16.05.2023 at 1:20 pm, I went to the Hon’ble Minister, services chamber because I was called by the PA of hon’ble minister that minister sir (Sh. Saurabh Bhardwaj) is calling me in his chamber and secretary services Sh. Ashish More is already sitting in the Office. After reaching there, the hon’ble minister asked about the files he had asked to be sent in his office. I submitted that in pursuance of the hon’ble minister directions, one file of transfer posting and CBB minutes related to the concerned period has already been shown. I also informed that the concerned branch and officials have been instructed to give all files. It was also submitted that few transfer orders and CSB Minutes were also shown to hon’ble minister in the morning. hon’ble minister asked for a particular file related to T.S.R. Subramania­n judgement and constituti­on of CBB in Delhi. I informed that I got this informatio­n from branch that as the charge of services-I is with Mr Y.VV.J Rajashekha­r the concerned file is with Mr. Y.V.V.J Rajashekha­r. Then he asked why all the files are with Mr Y.V.V.J Rajashekha­r and why copy of the notificati­on is not kept any where else in any other file”, Dr Singh said in the letter dated on May 16.
