Earlier in the day, addressing a public rally in Sangareddy, Telangana, after inaugurating several development projects, the Prime Minister said the Congress has made Telangana its new ATM. He said the Congress is "scared" to promote young leaders and appeared to take a veiled dig at AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge when he said the party was appointing people over 75-80 years of age.

Mr Modi also said the dynastic parties were targeting him as he was exposing their scams worth several thousands of crores of rupees.

The Prime Minister stated that he never made any personal attacks but raised his voice against dynasty politics. Mr Modi noted that the Congress and its friends were now abusing him and his "family" -- the people of India -as he was keen to implement the "guarantee" given to the public.

"When I oppose (political) dynasties, as it is dangerous to democracy and prevents new opportunities for youth, they don't respond to that but say Modi has no family," he said.

Taking potshots at the Congress, Mr Modi said that the Congress has never promoted anyone below the age of 50.

"The Congress was not dynastic earlier. It doesn't promote anyone under 50 years old. If they have to appoint someone, they will appoint someone who is 75-80 years old. They are afraid that if a 50-year-old man comes and overtakes, what will happen to the family?" Mr Modi said.

In Sangareddy on Tuesday, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone and dedicated to the nation multiple development projects worth more than `6,800 crores. These projects encompass key sectors like road, rail, petroleum, aviation and natural gas.

On Wednesday, the Prime Minister is scheduled to launch the 17 km additional section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS and the priority corridor of the Agra Metro.

A Namo Bharat train will be flagged off on the new additional section by the Prime Minister from Muradnagar Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) station remotely through a video conference from Kolkata.

The Prime Minister will also virtually flag off the priority corridor of the Agra Metro, which includes six metro stations -- three elevated and three underground. This priority corridor will cover Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Mankameshwar and Jama Masjid.
