Twit­ter’s coun­try di­rec­tor for In­dia, Taran­jeet Singh, has quit the com­pany. In a se­ries of tweets, Singh has an­nounced his res­ig­na­tion, adding that Balaji Kr­ish, Twit­ter’s global head of rev­enue strat­egy and op­er­a­tions, will be­come the in­terim coun­try head.

Madi­son Dig­i­tal

Madi­son Dig­i­tal has ap­pointed Gau­rang Menon as na­tional cre­ative di­rec­tor. Menon will re­port to Vishal Chin­chankar, chief dig­i­tal of­fi­cer - Madi­son, and will be based in Mum­bai. Menon comes with a wealth of ex­pe­ri­ence in dig­i­tal com­mu­ni­ca­tion across agen­cies.

Alt Balaji

Manav Sethi, chief mar­ket­ing of­fi­cer of Alt Balaji, dig­i­tal arm of Balaji Tele­film’s, has stepped down from the role and is about to join a new role soon. With over 15 years of ex­pe­ri­ence na­tion­ally and glob­ally in mar­ket­ing, prod­uct, sales and strate­gic al­liances in dig­i­tal busi­nesses, Sethi was also the found­ing CMO of Alt Balaji, had joined the com­pany in Jan­uary 2017.

Ya­hoo In­dia

Gur­mit Singh, vice pres­i­dent and man­ag­ing di­rec­tor, Ya­hoo In­dia has quit the com­pany. Singh had joined the com­pany in 2014. He was tasked with over­see­ing Ya­hoo’s busi­ness in In­dia. Prior to join­ing Ya­hoo In­dia, Singh had worked with Net­work18 where he was chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer of Forbes In­dia. With over 24 years of ex­pe­ri­ence, Singh has a deep un­der­stand­ing of the me­dia and en­ter­tain­ment in­dus­try in In­dia.
