Air Italy, WOW to Con­nect Delhi to Mi­lan, Reyk­javik

Con­nec­tiv­ity be­tween In­dia and Europe is set to im­prove as two Euro­pean car­ri­ers have launched flights be­tween Delhi and Mi­lan in Italy and Reyk­javik in Ice­land. While Air Italy has launched flights to con­nect Delhi and Mum­bai to Mi­lan, Ice­land-based WOW air has launched flights be­tween Delhi and Ice­land’s cap­i­tal Reyk­javik. “From Reyk­javik, WOW air pas­sen­gers can take con­nect­ing flights to 13 des­ti­na­tions to the US and Canada,” said Ki­ran Jain, manag­ing di­rec­tor of WOW air. WOW air serves Chicago, Or­lando, New York, De­troit, Bal­ti­more, Bos­ton, Pitts­burgh, Los An­ge­les and Wash­ing­ton DC in the US, and Toronto and Mon­treal in Canada. Mean­while, Air Italy said on Fri­day that the car­rier is dis­cussing a code share al­liance with Vis­tara to feed its flights to Italy from Delhi and Mum­bai.“We are in fi­nal stages of dis­cus­sions with Vis­tara for an in­ter­line agree­ment with them, which will pro­vide us con­nec­tiv­ity to other cities,” Rossen Dim­itrov, chief op­er­at­ing of­fi­cer, Air Italy told me­dia per­sons.
