One of the most well known leading lady of the century Kajol has been conspicuous by her absence from the silver screen off late. Having bagged major hits to the kitty of her filmy career, the actress has given hits like ‘My Name is Khan’, ‘Fanaa’, ‘Kabhi Khushi, Kabhi Gham’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Karan Arjun’ but in the recent times we have only seen her in special appearances in a dozen of films. However what’s interesting to note is that most of her memorable films onscreen have been with Shah Rukh. Talking about the cult classic ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, the actress says “I think that film was special, it was a wonder movie. We didn’t really do a lot while making the movie but we did it with a lot of love and fortunately it turned out to be a fantastic and well loved film. I am grateful that everybody remembers it till today because it was a very long time ago but yes it does feel good.”

Although the past is the past and our concern is the present, so when we asked about her being seen onscreen, Kajol seems to have certain conditions like a mind blowing script that can draw her attention. “If I do a film now, it should have some reason. It must have a great script for I would have to remove time from my family to do the movie. It should be worth the time I’m going to be ready to give it away from my kids. It has to be really that good,” says the actress who seems to have embraced motherhood and doesn’t want to give that up so easily. So a word of advice to all the filmmakers looking to cast her in their movies, you might want to review your scripts once again before approaching her !
