13 days after filing FIR over sexual assault on wife, daughters; the monster cop is still on the run

In yet another shocking case of incest - this time involving a man in khaki who has been booked on charges of harassing his wife for dowry, sexually molesting his two daughters - one of whom is a minor and subjecting all of them to inhuman torture for the past seven years. complaint, the woman stated that she was married to Raiba, in 1986, the couple had two daughters and the family stayed in Manogaj Apartment, in Bhayandar (West). The complainan­t alleged that Raiba would come home in an inebriated state and pick up quarrels that would often escalate into violent assaults on her and both her daughters. “He not only demanded dowry but also accused me of adultery and said that the younger girl was begotten through an illicit affair. His main grudge was that I had failed to deliver a male child. ” alleged the hapless woman who has now moved to her native village in Karad. Although a case under sections 498 (A),292, 354, 509 and 323 (IPC) read with the relevant sections of the stringent Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 has been registered against the accused on 7, August, the police are yet to take him into custody.“The case was initially registered at Karad and later transferre­d to us for further investigat­ions. We are probing the matter and will arrest him soon.” said, API, Laxman Jhingale.
