When plot thickens, files vanish

This is with reference to the report, ‘Coalgate: Govt under fire over missing files’ (August 20). The mystery of the missing files is deepening and it is quite obvious that the government is trying to protect the highest in the government. The coal scandal has blackened the face of the government. Recall here how the Rajiv Gandhi government tried its best to duck the Bofors scandal. Similarly, the Adarsh files are also missing. The government has perfected the art of disappearance of important files.
