Item girl Tanisha wants to help Uttarakhan­d victims

The Uttarakhan­d Tragedy saw more than 5,000 people losing their lives and many became homeless. After receiving a helping hand from various NGO and multiple states, now, Bollywood has come forward to support the affected. Around 15 Bollywood based item girls have made their group for the cause of this multiday cloudburst tragedy. They will perform in 60 cities around 60 days to collect funds. A well know item girl who came to the limelight after her one ‘18CRORE KA Thumaka’, Tanisha Singh has acted in many Bollywood as well as south based movies. According to Tanisha Singh, “I went personally on June 5 at Uttarakhan­d to see the situation, but I was shocked to see people dying alive, they does not have anything to eat. After looking at the worst situation there, I discussed with my other colleagues and later we decided to make a group who will help them”. She added, “we are not going to collect any publicity from this cause and it is a pure help. On September 1, we will perform our first show in Delhi and later we will spread to other cities, we have kept our ticket prices at Rs 50 and subsequent­ly we will arrange one donation camp besides the stage where people can donate clothes, eating products, cash and etc whatever they wanted to donate”.
