IAA seminar to help developers leverage digital and social media
Delegates from the real estate world attended the first industry specific Knowledge Seminar organized by India Chapter of International Advertising Association (IAA) on digital media for the realty sector on August 2 at The Trident, BKC, Mumbai.
Titled ‘Real Estate in a Digitized World’, this internationally aligned Seminar bridged this gap by addressing how marketing strategies of the real estate industry can be enhanced by the technology revolution.
Says Jaideep Gandhi, Chairman Real Estate Events & Hon Treasurer, IAA India Chapter, “It gives me great pleasure that this knowledge seminar will help the developers to leverage the new world medium of digital and social media in this fastchanging business environment. This was just the beginning, and we look forward to many such initiatives where the advertising and real estate industries come together on a single platform for an interexchange of global practices. ” The occasion was a huge success, and had representatives from Mumbai’s top construction companies.
The seminar was attended by delegates from Hiranandani Constructions, Lokhand-wala Infrastructure, Rustomjee, Marathon Realty, Wadhwa Group, Raheja Developers, Kalpataru Builders, Nahar Group, Ajmera Group, Sheth Creators, House of Hiranandani, Kanakia Spaces, and other leading names. Many of the delegates felt that the seminar has enabled an understanding and appreciation of this important and cost effective medium, which they can now apply to improve their business.
The Guests of Honour for the IAA Knowledge Seminar were, Niranjan Hiranandani, Managing Director Hiranandani Constructions & Steve Waugh, the legendary Australian cricketer. Miss India World, Diana Hayden also graced the event.
The seminar saw prominent Speakers representing leading international Companies in Digital and Social Media including Group M, Google, Addikt, Wolff Olins and panel speakers from Microsoft, Madhouse, Netcore & Magicbricks. This eclectic mix regaled the audience with their anecdotes, insights and expertise. While the beautiful Diana Hayden graciously hosted the day’s proceedings.

They shared the sentiment that the Indian real estate industry would now have grasped the global trends in digital, and they hoped these would be applied for better marketing solutions.
