Priyanka Chopra has lent a voice to Ishani in Disney’s ‘Planes’ that releases in India this Friday and it coincides with the birthday of her late father. Looks like the actress has a double cause forcelebration.

“The film has released internationally. It has done well and I am very excited that I can share this film with the Indians as the film releases on August 23, 2013. Also, this day is an extra special day for me, being the birthday of my beloved father. The film can be watched with family, friends and kids together for entertainment,” says the actor.

Talking about her international venture as a dream come true for her, she states, “Yes, every little girl wants to turn into a Disney Princess. I wanted to be a Disney fairy and wanted to be Tinker Bell in my head. The closest I could become is a Disney princess called Ishani.” And further adds, “She is a sexy pan agent plane. This came to me three years ago. Discussing with Klay Hall (Director) made me feel more eager as I thought it was a cute idea. They videotaped me, I felt weird watching the plane talking in my voice. But after sometime I got used to Ishani.” She also says that for the first time being associated with Hollywood animation was a fresh, exhilarating and also creatively different experience. It kept her flying high in spirits.

“I do not feel working in Hollywood and Bollywood is any different. Yes, the environment is slightly different. But we need to adapt to the circumstances. For me performing any character is what I reallycare to do,” says PC.

On not being able to catch up on any Bollywood action, she says, “However, I have not been here in India for about six months and so I have not watched many films. I have missed out a lot.”
