Pooja Chopra’s take on Commando 2

The former beauty pageant winner will also feature in the sequel after debuting with the original

Pooja Chopra who got a hit Bollywood debut with Vidyut Jamwal in ‘Commando’ has become a fitness symbol to the audience post her role in the film. The actress was present at the re-launch of Gold's Gym in Mumbai where she revealed plans about the sequel to her debut film.

“Post ‘Commando’, of course it’s been really exciting. When your performance has been appreciated, your film has done well and now the sequel is being made, it feels good,” says the actress.

Talking about the sequel of the film ‘Commando 2’ where she will be seen playing the same character of Simrit Sarabjit Kaur that she played in the prequel, she tell us about the preparations and says, “There are classes and workshops and I am reviewing around 150 films. So that’s all about the preparations that have been going on for the sequel.”

Other than ‘Commando 2’, she is also going to be seen in another untitled film under the Vipul Shah banner and the actress would be playing the lead in this as well. However, unlike the ‘Commando’ saga this film is going to be less on action and more on youthfulness. “I would be working with the same production house for this film and it will be a very young film, not much action like ‘Commando’. It will be a youthful, vibrant and very me. That's all I can say for now,” says Pooja.

‘Commando 2’, movie plot revolves around Pooja like it did in the prequel but with Vidyut Jamwal doing action. Also, the news is that Vipul Shah has got Akshay Kumar on board as an action consultant. The movie is slated to release next year in 2014.
