Kirtilal Manilal Mehta honoured posthumously

In an award function organised by Hirani Mata Sthanak Trust at the Birla Krida Kendra, Chowpatty, Mumbai, Late Shri Kirtilal Manilal Mehta, was honoured posthumously for establishing the world renowned Lilavati Hospital. The prestigious hospital has immensely benefited underprivileged people with its various charitable endeavours. The award was received by Prabodh Kirtilal Mehta, son of Late Shri Kirtilal Manilal Mehta. Hirani Mata Sthanak Trust is an association of people from Palanpur. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Prabodh Kirtilal Mehta said, “I am honoured to receive this award recognizing the philanthropic work done by my late father Shri Kirtilal Manilal Mehta. Started with humble beginnings, the Lilavati Hospital has today grown into a 315 bed multi specialty hospital well-known even in international circles. My father’s work serves as an inspiration to all of us in the Mehta family. Our family gives significant grants each year for setting up and / or maintaining hospitals in India and abroad.”
