KEJRI GETS ‘KHAAS’ TREATMENT FOR COUGH

Interestingly, Prime Minister Modi had recommended this Bengaluru institute to the Delhi CM

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal, who is on a medical tour to Bengaluru, may claim to be an ‘aam aadmi’ but he is getting ‘khaas treatment’. 46-year-old Kejriwal arrived here on Thursday with his parents to undergo naturopathy treatment for high blood sugar and cough.

Kejriwal has booked a premier suite at the Jindal Institute of Naturopathy. It will cost him around Rs. 25,000 to 30,000 for stay, food and treatment for all three people, reports ANI.

Kejriwal’s doctor, Babina Nand Kumar, had on Thursday said that the former would be undergoing detoxification therapy, especially for his cough, at the naturopathy centre here.

“Once he comes over here, we will be undergoing all the detoxification therapy, especially for his cough, different types of treatment has to be given. Like we have the asthma bath or a drainage massage,” said Dr. Kumar.

“Last time, we had given him mud therapy, hydro therapy and massage that is a manipulative therapy and different types of packs, water treatment, physiotherapy, acupuncture, yoga, asanas, pranayams, laughing therapy, all these therapies were given to him,” she added.Dr. Kumar said Kejriwal had come last time for his diabetes test and added that he did not have any chronic cough problem.

“But since this time, he is coming with this new problem. So, we will have to examine him completely and then whatever investigations have to be done even that also has to be done. Only then I can come to a conclusion what actually he is suffering from. So, before he arrives here I cannot come to a diagnosis, what may be the cause of his cough,” Dr. Kumar said.

“Because the last time he came in he did not suffer from any of the respiratory orders. He just had diabetes. So, this is the new disease he has acquired now,” she added.
