Experts hail contribution of Dr. A S Deshpande

Padma Bhushan N. Vaghul, Ex-Chairman ICICI and ICICI Bank & Former CMD, Bank of India was invited to the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Mumbai to deliver Dr. A S Deshpande, Founder Director, IBPS, Memorial Lecture - 2016. Vaghul in his memorial lecture remembered the contribution of Dr. A S Deshpande in the field of Psychometric Testing for Selection of employees for Clerical and Officer level in the Banking Industry and some challenges the Banking Industry is facing these days. Ashwani Kumar, CMD of Dena Bank, Chairman IBPS Governing Board and Chairman Indian Banks’ Association presided over the function. Rajeev Rishi, CMD, Central Bank of India, Sushil Muhnot, CMD, Bank of Maharashtra, Dr. D B Phatak of IIT, Mumbai, M V Tanksale, CEO, Indian Banks’ Association, R K Chaudhury, Former Director, IBPS, Dr. S S Kulkarni, Senior Professor, NIBM & IBPS, all Senior Faculty Members, Ex and existing employees of the Institute attended the function.
