MTDC hosts ‘Experiential Tourism Conclave’

Manohar Parrikar, Defence Minister, inaugurated the 35th Coast Guard Commanders Conference at Coast Guard Headquarters, New Delhi. The conference was attended by senior officers of the Ministry of Defence and Indian Coast Guard (ICG) which included the Director General Rajendra Singh, PTM, TM, Additional Director Generals and Coast Guard Regional Commanders. The conference is held annually, where all Regional Commanders put forth the roadmap for future; discuss various policy and strategic issues. The three days conference aims to carve out a futuristic vision for the service and to determine the modalities to overcome the challenges efficiently. On World Tourism Day, MTDC also hosted an ‘Experiential Tourism Conclave’ at Jai Hind College which was inaugurated by Jaykumar Jitendrasinh Rawal, Minister of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra in the presence of Valsa Nair Singh IAS, Principal Secretary, Tourism & Cultural, Government of Maharashtra and K H Govind Raj IAS, Managing Director of Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation. Nation Builder awards for Excellence in Education has been given to Padamshri Dr. D Y Patil, Dr. Rajendra Gawai, Dr. Indu Sahani & Rajkumar Seksaria in presence of Kalpesh Jain President, Suresh Chokhani - Past President, Ramesh Somani, Vijay Biyani, Pankaj Vora etc., by Rotary Club of Bombay Peninsula at ITC Central.
