Now, pathology labs at ‘One Rupee Clinics’

Living in a metro city is one tough challenge and rarely do people running around get time for oneself. Often, people ignore simple symptoms in their bodies for the lack of time or money. Now, people need not worry of high expenditur­e for a health check up.

During their train commute, Mumbaikar can do their complete health check-up at the ‘One Rupee Clinic’ located at stations five Central Railway stations in the city.

After getting a good response for the ‘One Rupee Clinic', Dr. Rahul Ghule, the Chief Executive Officer of Magic Heart, with the support of Thyrocare, is starting a pathology labs at all the clinics with the facilities of MRI and CT scan at their clinic with a discount of more than 60 per cent.

According to the informatio­n, this facility was started on Thursday at 'One Rupee Clinics'. Under this, patients will get more than 50 pathologic­al diagnostic facilities.

“The patient coming for the check-up at the clinic will also get a discount of 33 to 70 per cent on every inquiry. Along with the various health check-ups, patients can also do CT scan and Magnetic Resonance Imaging of their body,” added Dr. Rahul.

‘One Rupee Clinic' has tied up with the Thyrocare pathology laboratory for checking the blood samples and the report will be handed over to the patient next day.

“After taking the patient's blood samples, complete study will be done on it. Once the sample is checked, the report will be sent directly to the patient's e-mail address,” said the official from Thyrocare.

The patient coming for their thyroid check-up which contains various test like THH, T3 and T4 will be charged less than the market rate which is Rs 550.

“We will be charging Rs 180 from the patients who are coming for their thyroid check-ups. Apart from this we are also offering calcium test for Rs 400, blood sugar fasting for Rs 50, Malaria test for Rs 200 and dengue test for Rs 500,” said Dr. Rahul.

If some patient cannot go to the clinic to get the tests done, they can give a missed call and person will go to their house for the collection of samples.

“Some senior citizens or patient who cannot come due to medical reason can give missed call at 8030636166 and after receiving the missed call, our person will come at home for collecting the samples which will be free of cost,” added Dr. Ghule.
