CONCERT

• Beer Puppets, Jazz Concert. An NCPA Presentation. A jazz band with an exotic name, Beer Puppets was founded by Shreya Bhattacharya and Abhishek Dey, who were students at the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music in Chennai. They will be performing an amalgam of contemporary jazz, R&B, some fusion and their originals. It will feature Bhattacharya and Mana Dhanraj on vocals, Dey on bass, Anurag Naidu on piano and keyboards and Aron Nyiro on drums. Tickets: Rs.750 & 500/(plus GST). TRIBUTE

• Dr. Shankar Shesh Foundation will be hosting an annual two-day Hindi Drama festival “Dr. Shankar Shesh Mahostav” on 29th October 2017 at Sathe college auditorium, Mumbai. The festival will showcase four of its best Hindi plays written by late-Dr. Shankar Shesh, and those are Poster, Ek Aur Dronacharya, Nayi Sabyata Naye Namune, and Komal Gandhar.
