• Beer Puppets, Jazz Concert. An NCPA Presentati­on. A jazz band with an exotic name, Beer Puppets was founded by Shreya Bhattachar­ya and Abhishek Dey, who were students at the Swarnabhoo­mi Academy of Music in Chennai. They will be performing an amalgam of contempora­ry jazz, R&B, some fusion and their originals. • Dr. Shankar Shesh Foundation will be hosting an annual two-day Hindi Drama festival “Dr. Shankar Shesh Mahostav” on 29th October 2017 at Sathe college auditorium, Mumbai. The festival will showcase four of its best Hindi plays written by late-Dr. Shankar Shesh, and those are Poster, Ek Aur Dronachary­a, Nayi Sabyata Naye Namune, and Komal Gandhar.
