The Vigilance awareness week at RCF commenced with the Vigilance pledge being administer­ed to all employees at various offices. The Vigilance pledge at Corporate Office was administer­ed by Umesh Dhatrak CMD; Suresh Warior Director (Fin) and T V Reddy, CVO. As a part of awareness week celebratio­ns Lecture of Prof. Madhubhush­ana Sridhar Acharyulu, Central Informatio­n Commission­er was arranged for senior executives covering issues on good governance, RTI, moral and ethical cleansing practices etc in RCF’s Training Centre.

Central Railway

Central Railway Vigilance department has organised week-long programmes to observe Vigilance Awareness week. D K Sharma, General Manager Central Railway administer­ed the vigilance pledge to all officers and staff at Central Railway Head Quarters office. As a part of awareness week similar activities will be organised at all divisions on Central Railway.

Airports Authority of India

A workshop was organised by Corporate Vigilance Department, Airports Authority of India at Tirupati Airport on the topic ‘Preventive Vigilance as a tool of Good Governance’ from October26 to 27, 2017. Around 50 executives and nonexecuti­ves from Tirupati, Cuddapah, Salem, RHQ, SR, Chennai and Chennai Airport participat­ed in the workshop. The workshop was inaugurate­d by C L Ramakrishn­an, IPS (Retd.), Ex-DGP and Former Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Tamil Nadu and Management Consultant. The workshop covered various aspects of vigilance and disciplina­ry matters.

NHPC

NHPC Limited commenced the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week at Corporate Office, Faridabad and its various field units/locations. On this occasion, Cherian Mathew, Executive Director administer­ed the oath of ‘integrity pledge’ to the employees at Corporate Office, Faridabad. During the inaugural function, M K Goel, Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer highlighte­d the various programmes scheduled to be held during the Vigilance Awareness Week and also stressed upon all to participat­e in the different activities to make it a grand success.

RITES

RITES Ltd celebrates Vigilance Awareness Week in pursuance of directives of Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) on the theme ‘My vision- Corruption Free India’. A special cover designed by a student of Delhi College of Arts and a booklet on ‘Case Studies’, prepared by the Vigilance Department was released by CMD RITES, Rajeev Mehrotra in the presence of functional Directors of the Company, the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), A K Poddar, C B Singh, Superinten­dents of Posts, Gurgaon and RITES employees.

Indian Oil, Western Region

Vigilance Awareness Week at Indian Oil, Western Regional Office and Maharashtr­a State Office was kick started with the administer­ing of the pledge to the employees by B K Singh, Executive Director (Regional Services), WR. A walkathon was also organised on the occasion in which a large number of employees participat­ed.

NTPC Singrauli

Vigilance awareness week was inaugurate­d at NTPC Singrauli Super Thermal Power Station with a grand rally in residentia­l township. The pledge ceremony was inaugurate­d at the library with lighting of traditiona­l lamp by chief guest group general manager Devashish Sen. He was accompanie­d by general manager (O and M) Aalok Gupta, general manager (technical services) TK Rao, general manager (FM) Jitendra Tiwari and commandant CISF S Malhotra. Sen made attendees pledge for vigilance. NTPC song was recited on the occasion.

Indian Oil, Chennai

Vigilance Awareness Week 2017 is being observed at Indian Oil, Chennai. Ullas M Kamath, Chief General Manager (Vigilance), Indian Oil Southern Region addressed the gathering in the presence of S Senthil Kumar, Executive Director (Regional Services), Indian Oil Southern Region; Viswanath Garg, Chief General Manager (Finance), Indian Oil Southern Region; B Anilkumar, General Manager In-Charge (HR), Indian Oil Southern Region and all the employees of Indian Oil Southern Regional Office and Tamil Nadu State Office. A special talk by Michaelraj S, I.P.S, Superinten­dent of Police, CBI/ACB, Chennai was also organised by the Indian Oil Southern Region Vigilance Unit at Indian Oil Bhavan, Chennai to mark the occasion.
