CISF Unit at SSTPS celebrates 49th Raising Day
CISF Unit at NTPC Singrauli Super Thermal Power Station (SSTPS) celebrated 49th Raising Day of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on March 10. Four platoons of CISF participated in the Raising Day parade. Chief guest NTPC Singrauli group general manager Debasish Sen took salute of the parade. Guests including general manager (O & M) Aalok Gupta, general manager (TS) TK Rao and NTPC manager Adesh Pandey graced the occasion with their presence. Chief guest said that CISF was formed in the year 1969 with three battalions to safeguard Government of India undertakings. ‘Owing to its hard work and capabilities, it is not only confined to Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), but fulfils responsibilities of safeguarding nuclear installations, space stations, airports, seaports, power stations, important government buildings, heritage sites, disaster management and VIP security”, he added.
