Fancied Jindal Squash Academy came up with the perfect strategies and right combinations as they sidelined Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana (JVPG) Club 3-2 margin in the final of the Hyatt Regency - Mumbai Inter-Club Squash League, organised by the Indian Squash Professionals and played at the Hyatt Regency courts.

The Jindal Academy team, who trailed 1-2, won both the singles ties and the final doubles rubber as they recovered to clinch a deserving victory and emerge champions.

Abhishek Agarwal provided Jindal Academy a great start when defeated Araash Mehta 11-8, 11-4 in the first rubber, which was a singles tie.

JVPG went on to pocket the third rubber when their doubles pair of Aishwary Singh and Shashi Pandey got the better of Abhishek Agarwal and Puneet Pareek 6-11, 11-6, 11-10 to put their team in front 2-1.

However, Jindal Academy came roaring back as Avinash Yadav tamed Amitpal Kohli 11-5, 11-7 in the fourth, singles rubber to bring his team on level at 2-2 and keep the interest alive in the fifth rubber.

The final tie, which was a doubles affair, the Jindal combination of Pradeep Chaudhary and Sandeep Paswan overcame a strong fight from Amitpal Kohli and Ashish Mehta 7-11, 11-10, 11-7 to clinch a tight match and secure the success of their team.
