Myrmidons hold Ruthless 1-1 in BPFL

MUMBAI: Kunal Patel struck a late goal which helped Myrmidons SC salvage a 1-1 draw with Ruthless SC in an interesting Group ‘A’ league match of the third Borivali Premier Football League (BPFL), conducted by the Borivali Sports Foundation, under the auspices of the MDFA and played at the St. Francis D’Assisi High School ground, Borivali (West). Ruthless started off in a dominant fashion and took an early lead through seasoned midfielder Hekmat Singh in the very eighth minute of the match. But, Kunal Patel found the back of the net in the final minute of play to force a a draw and division of two points with Ruthless. In a Group ‘B’ match, Shelar FC blanked Vibrants FC 2-0. Strikers Ganesh Salkar and Bhavesh Vichare netted a goal each.
