Mum­bai’s largest fair turns gold for 410 job seek­ers

As­so­ci­a­tion of Mus­lim Pro­fes­sion­als (AMP), in as­so­ci­a­tion with World Me­mon Or­gan­i­sa­tion (WMO) and Mu­das­sir Pa­tel Foun­da­tion or­ga­nized a Mega Job Fair in Mum­bai on Satur­day. For this Job Fair, Dis­trict Skill De­vel­op­ment, Em­ploy­ment & En­trepreneur­ship (DSDE&E), Mum­bai, which is part of Gov­ern­ment of Ma­ha­rash­tra and Teamlease, a Re­cruit­ment Con­sul­tancy were the Co-or­gan­is­ers of the job fair.

The Job Fair was con­ducted at Alma Lat­ifi Hall, Sa­boo Sid­dik Col­lege of En­gi­neer­ing, By­culla, to help un­em­ployed youths to get placed in re­puted main­stream Cor­po­rates and to pro­vide op­por­tu­ni­ties to the needy with­out any dis­crim­i­na­tion of caste and creed.

Through this unique event, the or­ga­niz­ers en­deav­oured to give back to the Na­tion what they have re­ceived by help­ing the youth get Jobs.

At the end of the day around 410 can­di­dates were given on­the-spot of­fers by the re­cruiters while 850 were short­listed for the next round.
