Tipper truck mows down biker

BHAYANDAR: The rash and negligent driving of a truck driver claimed the life of a 34-year-old biker in Kashimira. The deceased identified as Satyendra Shivpujan Tiwari (34) was riding solo when the driver of an a speeding tipper truck (MH:04:HD:9002) rammed his bike from behind near Lodha Complex on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway in Kashimira. While the biker died on the spot, the driver fled the scene. A case under sections 297, 304 (a), 337, 338 and relevant sections of the Motor Vehicle Act was registered.
