Rahul fears EVM fraud can still tilt in favour of BJP

-

Congress President Rahul Gandhi has expressed apprehensions that votes in favour of his party in all three BJPruled states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh can still be manipulated through the electronic voting machines (EVMs). "In Modi''s India, the EVMs have mysterious power," he said in a tweet, alerting the Congress workers to be vigilant until the day of the counting on Tuesday as the EVMs can be stolen. He cited an example of Madhya Pradesh where he said some stole the EVMs and were later found drinking. "In MP, EVM's behaved strangely after polling. Some stole a bus and vanished for two days! Others slipped away and were found drinking in a hotel."

The Congress had already approached the Election Commission for a probe into the ruling BJP allegedly attempting to tamper with the

EVMs "in collusion with the local administration.
