Pro-democracy group to hold discussions on rising intolerance in Maharashtra

MUMBAI: To address the rising intolerance in the state, the Lokshahi Jagar Samiti will organise conferences and discussions across Maharashtra. There will be discussions on cultural terrorism, the ‘undeclared Emergency’ and the atmosphere of rising intolerance in the country. “The purpose of the meetings is to create awareness against the rising fascist tendencies and cultural terrorism, especially under this government. We have planned to visit various districts and create awareness about the democratic ethos within the country,” said Prabhakar Narkar, convener of the Lokshahi Jagar Samiti.
