4-day in­ter­col­lege Ut­sav-2019 con­cludes

BHAYANDAR: The four-day an­nual in­ter­col­lege fes­ti­val, Ut­sav2019, be­ing or­gan­ised by the L R Ti­wari Col­lege of Engi­neer­ing in Mira Road area ended on Sun­day. Packed with high-oc­tane per­for­mances, cre­ative themes, celeb ap­pear­ances and much more, the cul­tural fi­esta has al­ways been one of the much-awaited event for the col­le­gians. More than 10,000 stu­dents from 140 ed­u­ca­tional in­sti­tu­tions of Thane, Mum­bai, Pal­ghar and Navi Mum­bai par­tic­i­pated. The fes­ti­val wit­nessed a host of cul­tural events and sports com­pe­ti­tions. It served as a plat­form for the youth to ex­press their opin­ion on so­cial is­sues through de­bates and in­ter­ac­tive ses­sions. “Play­ing a sig­nif­i­cant role in one’s col­lege life, the fests are not just fun, it is also a learn­ing ex­pe­ri­ence for the stu­dents. Through par­tic­i­pa­tion, stu­dents de­velop new skills,” said Rahul Ti­wari.

IPS Of­fi­cer Atul Kulka­rni was one of the guests at the fes­ti­val.
