Restore rights

The reported curb on the speech of Amol Palekar has wiped out all the propaganda the govt is indulging. Palekar is a highly respectable figure in film industry and needs no introduction. To disrespect him and curbing his freedom of speech amounts to insult to not only him or film industry but it violates the fundamental rights guaranteed by the constitution to a citizen. I wonder how the film industry has not reacted yet. A new way is found by the organisers to invite speakers to insult them. There is need to restore freedom of speech. — S S Nair
