S K Somaiya starts Student Stock Exchange

The members of the Investor Forum (A BFM initiative) of S KSomaiya Degree College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Vidyavihar, introduced a website Student Stock Exchange (studentstockexchange.in) in their intercollegiate Departmental Festival (Valores).It is an automated screen based trading system that allows virtual trading and follow the principles of order-driven market. The website works on real-time basis where the prices of the stocks are determined with respect to the demand and supply created by the participants of SSE. Harshil Mehta (student of S K Somaiya), the founder of the website, initiated the idea of SSE and was later supported by his team.
