Pathan strikes for Central Railway

Shabaz Pathan notched up a fine hat-trick as Central Railway scored a fluent 4-1 win against Maharashtra State Police in an Elite Division match of the RustomjeeMDFA League 2018-2019 and played at the Cooperage football ground.

The Maharashtra policemen showed a lot of promise at the start and wrested the advantage when Sagar Basle scored the opening goal of the match in the 43rd minute to give his team a 1-0 lead.

However, soon after the change of ends, Ajinkya Nalawade scored the equalizer in the 47th minute before Pathan scored the next three goals to seal Central Railways victory and to collect all the three points.
