Cremica Food Park with largest processing line inaugurate­d

MUMBAI: The government’s move to boost growth opportunit­y in the food processing industry and agricultur­e sector got another impetus with the opening of Cremica Mega Food Park. Spread over 55-acre landscape in Una district of Himachal Pradesh, the food park was inaugurate­d by Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Union Minister of Food Processing Industry, and Jai Ram Thakur, Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh. The food park, which was set up at a cost of over Rs 100 crore, will have India’s largest fruit processing line having a capacity of 1,50,000 tonnes of fruits and vegetables per annum.
