Flyer held with 22kg gold worth `6.74cr

MUMBAI: Intelligence officers of the Mumbai int’l airport arrested an Indian flyer for allegedly smuggling gold bars worth `6.74 crore. He was carrying 44 bars weighing 500 grams each and had concealed it in undergarments. He landed at Mumbai from Dubai by Emirates flight on Tuesday. During probe, the accused said he had previously smuggled gold bars. Gold bars worth `1.51 crore was seized from his house.
