Rahul lashes out at PM Modi at Ajmer meet

Congress President Rahul Gandhi made scathing attack on PM Modi and the BJP, addressing the Congress volunteers at the national convention of the Sewa Dal in Ajmer. Rahul chose to varied subjects from RSS to GST to attack Modi whom he described as the “friend of the rich”. Praising the role of the Dal, which he described as the backbone of the INC, Rahul said while you the volunteers of Sewa Dal spread friendship and goodwill, the RSS volunteers weilds a lathi while going to the shakhas to spread hatred.

Rahul said the Dal in the Congress did not get due importance, but he as the president would ensure that the Sewa Dal volunteers are well recognised in the affairs of the party.

Rahul said PM Modi claims he is a chowkidar, but he allows Ambanias, Adanis, Modis, Mallyas and the Choksis to look the nationaliz­ed banks and Modi waive off their loans. Is this the job of a chowkidar to allow robbing the national wealth ?

Rahul sounded the bugle for the party’s Lok sabha campaign by addressing the Congress Sewa Dal workers and asked the party cadres to join hands to overthrow the Modi government from the Centre.

He asked them to work with the same zal that yielded electoral success in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisga­rh.

Rahul said Modi by his claims tried to undermine the contributi­on of Pt Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Manmohan Singh and others like B R Ambedkar and Rajendra Prasad. He said that such claims by a Prime Minister show the high office that he holds in poor light.
