Story of Life

WHAT: Recent works of a contemporary artist from West Bengal, SK Nur Ali will be showcased in a solo art exhibition called ‘Story of Life’. The exhibition reveals his artistic perceptions about message of peace and harmony in colourful iconic metaphors through sentiments and feelings in apt arenas and perspectives. SK Nur Ali hails from a village Attaghar in West Bengal. He had his art education at the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata. Then he displayed his works in many solo and group art exhibitions in leading art galleries at Mumbai, Kolkata, Burdwan, etc. The present series envisages his obsession with his simple nature of village life in his surroundings. A close observation of pet birds and animals, fishes etc have fascinated him since a long time. He has endeavoured to narrate their rhythmic like with emotions symbolic colours mostly for some species like cats, goats and fishes. WHEN: February 18 to 24, 2019, 11 am to 7 pm
