Sharapova pulls out of Indian Wells

FLORIDA: Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova has withdrawn from the upcoming Indian Wells Masters due to an injury in the right shoulder. The 31-year-old has been struggling from the injury for quite a long time now and had to withdraw from the St. Petersburg Trophy in between due to the same injury, last month. "The shoulder hasn't been much of a secret in the past year. That's been something I have been struggling with and had to shut down the season after the US Open," WTA quoted Sharapova, as saying.
