CM announces Rs50L to their kin

MUMBAI: CM Devendra Fadnavis announced Rs 50 lakh to kin of each family of two martyrs who hails from Buldhana district. Fadnavis, while speaking in Tasgaon of Sangli district, announced the financial aid to the kin of the martyrs family. Two CRPF troopers from Maharashtr­a are among the 45 killed in the suicide attack on February 14. Fadnavis added, “The state government will take responsibi­lity of rehabilita­tion of the kin of martyrs. 125 crore Indians are their family members.” Siddhivina­yak Trust, Dadar announced aid of Rs 51 lakh to the kin of martyrs. Maharashtr­a Navnirman Chitrapat Sena Aghadi (MNCSA) president Ameya Khopkar raised his hackles over music industry producing music albums for Pakistani singers, demands immediate end to the practice. MNS chief Raj Thackeray said the appalling attack on our CRPF jawans is immensely disturbing. “The MNS mourns the death of the martyrs and shares the grief with their families.” He further added keeping aside all political difference­s, there is need to give a befitting response. Ashok Chavan, president of Maharashtr­a Pradesh Congress Committee said that in this situation, Congress is with the jawans and with the government to fight against the terrorism. “There can be no compromise on the country's security and sovereignt­y,” he asserted. - FPJ Political Bureau
