TC IS HELD ON SEDITION RAP
FPJ Political Bureau / Mumbai: A ticket collector (TC) at Lonavla railway station was arrested by the police on Friday for raising pro-Pakistan slogans as a group of citizens gathered at Shivaji Chowk, Lonavla, on Friday, to pay their respects to the slain CRPF jawans. The man, identified as Upendrakumar Shrivir Bahadur Singh, 39, shouted 'Pakistan Zindabad', as the gathering was condemning the attack. He was immediately nabbed and brought to the police station. He was arrested under charges of ‘imputations and assertions prejudicial to national integration’ -- Section 153B of the Indian Penal Code -- and produced in court, which sent him to police custody until February 18. He has been also suspended; Upendrakumar hails from Patna. According to a local Shiv Sena leader, he may have mental health issues.
